A piece of history

In the countryside, surrounded by farms and vineyards, La Bastide has witnessed a long agricultural history – harvests of both vegetables and grapes

Over the years, its name has evolved from the original Bastide de Pellegrine, then the Bastide Val d’Andrieu, and finally today, Bastide Barbeiranne, taking the name of a locality at the edge of the property.

In 1992, La Bastide found its current design. From abandoned ruins, its previous owner, Jean Luc Chaufour, entrusted its metamorphosis to Bruno Lafourcade and his wife, architects in Saint Rémy de Provence. They accepted the challenge to restore these beautiful houses marked by a long Provencal history.

In 2019, the Combard family purchased La Bastide and acquired the Barbeiranne vineyard, now part of the Figuière winemaking estate.

A FEW STEPS INTO THE PROPERTY ARE ENOUGH TO BE INTOXICATED BY AN EXPLOSION OF COLORS.

CHARMING RESIDENCE

La Bastide Barbeiranne is part of these charming residences where the atmosphere is instinctively warm and welcoming. With its multiple windows and skylights, its facade allows an entire palette of colors to filter through depending on the time of day.

Its patinated tomette tiles, in earthy shades of red and deep brown, and multicolored walls adorned with soft tadelkats, invite you to travel back in time, in Provence, or in more distant lands.

The kitchen, worthy of an inn, becomes a place of indulgence and delight.
